7. Search, Sports, and Trakt

• All: combines movies, series, and channels.
• Movies or Series: limits the search to the selected type.
• Channels: searches only live streams.
• TV programs: searches the loaded guide.
• Actors: searches for a person, then matches their filmography with titles in your libraries.
• Title, Description, or Title and description: choose the text field to analyze.
• One playlist: reduces duplicates; All playlists: searches all sources available to the profile.

• Movie or series: opens its details page.
• Channel: opens the live stream.
• TV program: attempts to open the matching channel or program, depending on its schedule and catch-up availability.
• Actor: opens the person's page and the matched titles in your playlists.
• Long press on a movie, series, or channel: displays the available contextual actions, including favorites.

1. 01Try a shorter part of the title and check the spelling.
2. 02Check the selected playlist or the All playlists option.
3. 03Choose the filter that matches the content type.
4. 04Try Title, then Title and description.
5. 05Check hidden groups.
6. 06Wait for the update to finish, or refresh the playlist and EPG.
7. 07For an actor, check the Internet connection, TMDB availability, and the external IDs of local titles.

Sports is a conditional Premium feature in My Wave TV. It requires an active sports integration, Internet access, a data source, and playlists with enough information to match an event to a local channel.

1. 01Open My Wave TV > Sports when the tab is available.
2. 02Choose For me, By sport, or My follows.
3. 03To follow a team or person, open My follows, choose the sport, then search for their name.
4. 04Use the gear icon to choose the period, data sources, playlists, and sports to include.
5. 05Open an event to view the announced broadcasters and matched local channels.
6. 06Choose the playlist, channel, or quality when several matches exist.
7. 07Depending on the schedule and available options, watch the channel, create a reminder, or open recording.

• Sports tab missing: the feature may not be enabled in your version or for your account.
• No events: check the Internet connection, period, visible sports, Live only filter, and active data source.
• No matched channel: check the included playlists, channel names, and EPG assignments.
• Expected channel missing: refresh the playlist, then check its availability with the provider.
• Slow screen: reduce the displayed period or the number of visible sports.

Trakt is an external service available with Premium or when a compatible trial is recognized. It can synchronize the watchlist, VOD favorites, watched states, history, progress, and Trakt sections in My Wave VOD. It does not provide any video content.

1. 01Activate the WAVEO profile that should use the Trakt account.
2. 02Open Settings > Trakt, then choose Connect.
3. 03Note the web address and temporary code displayed.
4. 04On a trusted phone or computer, open that address and sign in directly to Trakt.
5. 05Enter the code and authorize WAVEO.
6. 06Return to the TV, choose I've linked my account, and wait for confirmation.
7. 07Read the initial import proposal, select the useful categories, then start the import or explicitly choose to skip it.

• Sync immediately: open Settings > Trakt, then choose Sync now.
• Code rejected: generate a new code and check the Trakt account open in the browser.
• Synchronization pending: complete the initial import, wait for WAVEO updates to finish, and check the Internet connection.
• Title unavailable: search for it in All playlists, then associate the correct local version.
• Incorrect progress: check the associated profile, account, and local version before synchronizing again.
• Disconnect: check the latest synchronization, choose Disconnect, then also revoke WAVEO in Trakt if you want to remove access completely.

MDBList brings watchlists, personal lists, upcoming episodes and other curated content into My Wave. It is useful when you want to discover and organize VOD titles outside your provider's categories while keeping viewing progress synchronized.

1. 01Create or prepare your account at mdblist.com and make sure WAVE Premium or an eligible active trial is available.
2. 02Open Settings > My Wave settings > MDBList. Scan the QR code or open the displayed address, enter the code and authorize MDBList. The TV screen updates automatically when the connection is complete. One WAVE profile can use MDBList or Trakt as its VOD integration, not both at once.
3. 03Select MDBList as the My Wave VOD integration. Open a title's details or poster menu to add it to your watchlist, browse the available lists, search, sort or filter them, and pin the lists you use most.
4. 04Use Sync now for an immediate refresh or enable automatic synchronization. Playback progress is sent while you watch, so you do not need to finish a title. The Import watched option can bring older watched movies and episodes into MDBList without uploading playlists or changing local favorites.
5. 05To switch to Trakt or remove MDBList, return to the same settings screen and choose Disconnect first. WAVE favorites and TV favorites remain separate; MDBList manages the VOD watchlist, history and progress categories.

• My Wave can show sections such as Continue watching, Next episodes, Series to start, My watchlist, History, Discover and Pinned list.
• MDBList lists can include Library, My lists, Liked, External, Official, Curated and Popular. Depending on the account, you can search, load more, pin or unpin, open or like items, and create, edit, delete or make lists private.
• MDBList can mark a movie or episode as watched at 80% playback. WAVE still sends the exact playback percentage for synchronization.
